Automation is excluded first
Verified crawlers, classified bots and challenged automation are separated at the edge before the count is made, and each keeps its own line. The headline figure is people; the rest stays visible rather than quietly folded in.
Filter while it is still live
The active list segments on the spot: one campaign, one landing page, one country, one device. A surge resolves to its source in a few seconds, which is the difference between pausing the wrong ad and the right one.
Optional depth from the beacon
The edge sees the request; Smart Beacon sees the experience. Where the beacon runs, SPA navigation, scroll depth and engagement sit beside the edge requests for the same visit. Where it does not, the live view still works from proxied traffic alone.
