Follow the content path

Start at the conversion and walk the path backwards.

Forward paths show where visits go. The reverse view starts at an outcome — an order, a trial, a signed lead — and reconstructs the pages, sources and content that came before it. Both directions are built from the same events, so a step reads as a route in or as the place a path ended.

User Journeys

  • Forward paths from source to outcome
  • Reverse paths from conversion to acquisition
  • Drop-off steps ranked by lost revenue
  • Paths segmented by campaign and device

How it helps

What User Journeys gives you

1

Start from the money

Forward flow is dominated by the majority, and the majority does not convert. Reverse paths are built only from visits that ended in an outcome, so the common steps you see are the steps buyers actually took.

2

Drop-off priced, not counted

Every step in a path has a loss figure attached: how many visits left, and what those visits were worth at the conversion rate of the ones that continued. The biggest hole is rarely the one with the most exits.

3

A path is a correlation

The analytics engine computes the counts; the AI explains them. A step that appears on most converting paths is the strongest correlation in the data, not proof that it caused the conversion — and the explanation says so in those words.
